One More Down

My class is over. It is now time to relax for two days, minus my work outs, and read all kinds of lovely books and blogs.

My class is over,
my class is done.
But none of that matters
for you don't love me, hun.

I made myself a little wish box that has a gorgeous painting by John Waterhouse on the cover. I filled the box with glitter and then wrote down wishes and names of people to pray for. Little things that make me happy are in there, too. Today I pulled out "Smile all day". I have been so far.

He Scares Me

I'm in love.
I'm in love with the most perfect male.
He is handsome, nice, sweet, everyone loves him.
He accepts me for my faults and the personality traits others find stupid or silly.
He loves me too..
but not like I love him.
He loves me as a best friend.
This scares me.
I don't want to get hurt.
I also don't want to settle.
I shall wait for him.
I would be happy with no one but him.

Time to continue with my hot tea drinking and wistful music.
I will also continue with my wishful thinking.

It Can't Be Up to Me

Sometimes I wonder why things do not always work out the way we want them to. Then I realize it is up to us to make life work out. Which is why I strive to be as strong as Alice Kingsley.
